Fishing
Lake Texoma is one of the premier fishing lakes of the South. In the late 1960s, the lake was stocked with Stripped Bass. Lake Texoma is one of the seven inland lakes where they reproduce naturally. Stripped Bass can reach 12 to 20 pounds and the present record at our lake is 35.12 lb. It is common to find 5 to 50 pound Catfish. A 121.5 pound Blue Catfish was caught in 2004. ( crappie, white bass, black bass, bluegill, pike, gar, sunfish, and drum are also found at Texoma )
